Long Beach is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Long Beach follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Joined a garden here and while we grew some great crops the people are biased and discrimitive. Made us take down a Palestine flag in the misc of a genocide. Tried to kick us out with absolutely no warning even though our garden looked way better than our neighbors. Dont come here if you have work or a child because they excpext you to be here day and night.

Very unprofessional people who run the garden Greg Marcotte .. threw us on probation for one year because of plot not being there standard .. spent 7 hours one Sunday to meet there standards just for the following week for them to revoke my membership after spending hundreds of dollars in that garden… only giving me three days to remove my belongs which I have a full time job not giving me any time to remove my tools and wood that I spent money on .. people there are snobbish including Greg and Linda the vice president .. I spent over a thousand dollars building this garden just for them to revoke my membership and couldn’t even do it over the phone hid behind an email..

This is a rare green that's secluded, the gardener's are so devoted to the love and care of their gardens. Every season you'll find different crops and they share their secrets, cheer on each other's success.

The Long Beach Community Garden is a great place to Garden. When you are a member you get 600 square feet of planting. You can use 80% of that for veggies in 20% for flowers. There are dues annually that are minimal, and you have to participate in community help. There are some restrictions in some planting guides. Overall if you love gardening this is the place for you.
